Face Talk – Positive Emotions

Face talk > Face Talk toolbox > Face Talk – Positive Emotions

There are only 3 positive reactions

When asking positive questions or making positive statements to determine the base-line and we hear positive language when we see positive reactions – then we deduce we are hearing the truth.

The (real) smile display is the normal response for positive feeling.
They also nods their head
back and forward when displaying positive emotions
They licks his lips when they would like to eat something in particular
or when they like what they say … perhaps something ‘fast and smart’  or, even if it is an insult to others

All the rest are Negative Displays

Therefore, if the person is answering with positive language and displaying a negative disposition by displaying contempt, sadness, anger, disgust, scorn or being unsure then they are being deceptive.

When the person does not reply and is tight-lipped, then they are not sharing – they are hiding something. When they immediately change subject then be aware that they do not want to answer the question.
