Dr Declan Garrett

Dr Declan Garrett is a Security Risk Management Consultant. He is a Doctor of Security Risk Management.

His research interests include training and education, human resource management in private security, professionalism of private security, situational crime prevention, counter-terrorism, art crime and museum security.
He serves on ASIS Internationals Cultural Properties Council and chairs their Museum Committee. He is also the Head of International Research and a Governor of the Board of Governors for Academic Standards at the Security Institute of Ireland. He is a leading academic and subject matter expert in his field and is a much-sought after International speaker.
