The only positive emotional display
When a positive response is given with positive language then the truth is told.
For some Cultures and a Definite NOT for others
Vulnerable or could be telling the truth
They may answer ”what could I do?” with the display is more than likely true, however, if you suggest that they could of done then that is when you will be able to determine if or why the did not take certain steps.
Negative Emotional Display
When asking questions that deserve a positive response and the response is negative then you know the person is contradicting their reply.
Contempt:
The hand-swipe
Fear
Hand wanting to hold onto something for example a pen, foot under the table
Anger
Can be a hidden not up in face
Fear [Mostly found with woman]
Comforting themselves (insecure)
Fear of the implications
Anxiety –
High stress (Squeezing of hands)
Whey they are NOT showing hands – they are lying
Hiding hands in pockets, behind their backs, under the table.
